Bristol needs a all season swimming pool. Neither of our high schools has one. They were cut due to the expense. The proposed Boys & Girls club facility will not have one either. Only the little league facility has one now. A public pool available to all ages is a must for our city.

The Giamatti Center has a year round swimming pool, but you can never have too many. I love to swim and I think this would be a great addition to the downtown area
How would the maintenance of the pool be paid for? Is your idea for a city-run pool or a private for-profit site?
The family Center has one already…albeit there’s no water in it. That’s just because of bad marketing.
The Dennis Malone Acquatic Center is right next to Edgewood school in the Giamatti Center and is open year round. VERY cheap. We don’t need a 2nd one in Bristol
