Ladies, I know a lot of you leave town to get a lot of that shopping done. Let’s get a good mixture of women’s stores here in Bristol to satisfy the masses.

I’m not even going to pretend to know what I’m talking about lol.  Any ladies have examples of boutiques they can post one-by-one in the comments section?

  1. Per Joanne Triolo on the specialty stores thread…

    Charming Charlie

Charming Charlie is a fashion accessory boutique that has been delighting women of all ages since 2004. Through a unique blend of fun, style, color and affordability, Charming Charlie helps shoppers pull together their look through the key finishing touches – earrings, necklaces, bracelets, handbags, scarves, belts … in a fun, boutique environment.

  2. Also from Joanne,

    Francesca’s

Francesca’s specializes in the most fashion-forward styles in women’s clothing, accessories, and gifts. Our stores are constantly filled with new treasures and our style is always one step ahead of the trend. Each Francesca’s boutique has its own charm which means you’re sure to find something special and unique at each one!

  3. Boutiques like H&M and Forever 21 are trendy, fun and moderately priced. You can keep up with current fashion and not be a slave to credit card debt. They carry clothing, jewelry, shoes, whatever. Designer boutiques are welcome too. It would be great to have at least two boutiques–more choices and competitive prices.

  4. Mark, thanks for adding these! I have another one…a great privately owned shop for women like La Moda in Fairfield and a new one in Hamden. Getting people like this to invest in Bristol would be great. Here’s the link…very great and unique shop

  5. Something akin to Signature Boutique & Simply, Torrington along with a more traditional woman’s clothing store. So many of our Bristol ladies go to Chico’s and Coldwater Creek to spend their money. Doesn’t have to be these stores, but we definitely want the quality and service these stores provide.

  6. I think Joanne and Diane are right on the mark with the calliber of stores that would be right for what we’re trying to achieve downtown.

  7. Would love to see Kathy Faber Designs/Stafford Ave move to downtown. While her original designs are formal wear, the clothes are beautiful and she’s a sweetheart of a lady to do business with.

  8. I would kill not to have to drive far for a good pair of SHOES!!!
