Fresh strawberry shortcake, ice cream sundaes, berries with fresh whipped cream, virgin strawberry daiquries would be feautured. Craft vendors would be a possibility. Face painting for kids along with some other related activities.
Farmer’s market selling local fresh produce with area bakeries selling fresh baked bread, rolls, pastries.

Great Family and all age event!
Thanks for asking the question Paul to clarify. At one of our meetups, the BristolRising members brainstormed what possibly could be a draw and work as the test waters for a piazza and getting Bristolites to understand the concept that is happening in other cities.
thanks Neil
Good question Paul. For the most part, public events can’t help but be related to the piazza, but so do many other things (ie retail businesses, housing, wifi). With that in mind, events need to be developed separately. The question is, which ones will the market actually support/people really want beyond merely being suggested in a brainstorming session? That’s the purpose of the Events category and the top 5 with at least 50 votes by March 15 being funded for a preliminary feasibility study.
Not to be a pest because i think these are all great ideas, but wasn’t the suggestion to put these ideas in the piazza forum so that we could discuss them and “like” the comments about them. i could be wrong but i thought the goal was to spit out ideas for the piazza itself so we could get some common ground on what we’d actually like to see there
This was one of the ideas that the group came up with while brainstorming at the last Rising meetup. Feel free to add your thoughts and ideas that would make this a success!
