Someone had made mention of the cow parade in West Hartford where they have cow statues decorated in different fashion thoughout the center of West Hartford. They made the suggestion that, in honor of the Carousel Museum, we do something similar with Carousel Horses. I thought that was a fantastic idea to show some of Bristol’s culture. Local artists could help decorate the horses. I really love that idea.

This could be one of the events that could be held in the piazza that draws people and if the piazza is road-free like we envisioned, it would make this event even better! I bet it wouldn’t be hard to get the Carousel Museum with this as well, and they will be right down the street from this.
This is a GREAT idea! It’s artistic, cultural and in keeping with the Carousel Museum.
This is a great touchstone to some of our happier past.
West Hartford has cows – Bristol has horses (much prettier). Actually, it would add to the attraction of the Carousel Museum.
