I agree that this could really tie in the nostalgia and history of the city with modern appreciation for alternate energy sources.
What a great centerpiece this would make for a dining area. Meet me at the carousel in Depot Square, we’ll get a coffee and a cone! Get Lake Compounce to sponsor it and run shuttles from the train station to the lake (trolleys!)

Why don’t we take one of the carousels in the museum, restore and get it running again? Then we can have a piece of history to mix in nicely with progress!
