Studies have shown that reduction in crime and in fear of crime have been related to improved street lighting in troubled areas. Let’s stop wishing that we could “do something” about the West End and start to put some BRIGHT ideas into place. This is something that everyone can get behind whether they live downtown or not, because everyone is invested in the prosperity of Bristol, every district of Bristol. This is not charity and handouts–this is proven infrastructure improvements that we can support today!
