A billiards hall in downtown Bristol, sound interesting? We are looking at opening a billiards hall in downtown Bristol at 245 Main St. that would offer as a meeting place with dart boards, arcade machines, 9′ pool tables, food, and drinks. This would offer an opportunity for pool leagues and tournaments. Dart leagues as well as dart tournaments. Birthday party spots offering video game play and pool play! If this sounds like something that would be of interest please support us by hitting LIKE.

  1. Andy, to be fair to Dave, I was somewhat like him too…  Many Bristolites are to an extent. You want to believe things can happen, you really do, but so much has told you otherwise as it relates to that site and downtown.

I think it’s akin to guarding your heart. You want to believe the pretty girl in school likes you back, but your mind runs wild thinking you’re going to get rejected–which in turn paralyzes your positivity toward even asking her out.  BTW, that was not a personal story haha.

I seriously had a similar revelation to Dave when I first spoke with Ryan last May.  Finally, SOMEONE who gets it!  After Ryan reached out to me, I thought to myself, If I was God, and could do ANYTHING how would I fix downtown? And I’m not kidding, almost to the “T”, Ryan told me exactly what I imagined as the only possible way to fix downtown Bristol. It blew my mind that Renaissance fell into Bristol’s laps, and they selected the right guys.

David, good point… it’s just a winning idea, and approach…. and thanks for the honesty.  Your feelings were certainly natural.

  2. I think it would be nice to consider putting in a ping pong table or two in the back of the pool hall or something, up at my college WCSU, we have what we call the game room where we have 4 pool tables, 1 ping pong table and 1 air hockey table. And normally the ping pong table has a huge line. It might not attract all those big bad biker guys you’d normally find at a downtown pool hall but it might interest some of the teens around my age in their 20s and whatnot. Just a suggestion. But i really like your idea too. :]

  3. Thank you for your feedback and that’s definitely something I can consider…

  4. You guys are on a roll! Good work!
