Motorcycles are showcased similar to the car show that has been on North Main Street. Owners are welcomed to show case their bike. Local organizations can sell food. DJ or band with music for entertainment. Raffle a motorcycle.

This was one of the ideas that the group came up with while brainstorming at the last Rising meetup. Feel free to add your thoughts and ideas that would make this a success!
This would be an excellent idea, even if it isn’t done regularly. Harley Davidson on Route 6 draws quite a crowd in the spring-summer-fall time and to allow them a chance to perhaps showcase bikes, allow owners to showcase personal bikes, can help support our local dealer and give them to space for the marketing. A lot of times, they have radio stations broadcasting from their parking lot which is small as it is. Wouldn’t it be nice for them to use the space for such an event?
There is in no way shape or form I want my tax money going towards a biker meeting place
Being a rider myself, I know from experience that riders like me head out on their bikes and look for a nice place to have a meal. The bikers I know spend good money for a convenient and motorcycle friendly outdoor restaurants. If you haven’t noticed there are more and more people enjoying motorcycles these days. Lets take this in to consideration and bring bikers from around the state to us.
