Here’s a brief excerpt about West Hartford’s event:
Around 30 artists participated in the 7th Annual ArtWalk sidewalk chalk competition in West Hartford Center on Saturday, September 11. A $5 entry fee gave artists a box of Blick chalk pastels, a square on the sidewalk of LaSalle Road or Arapahoe Road, and a chance to win ‘best of show’ cash prizes. The competition was part of the West Hartford Art League’s annual ArtWalk, running September 9 through October 9.
