A Word from Renaissance Community Liaison Mark Walerysiak Jr:
My name’s Mark Walerysiak Jr., Community Liaison for Renaissance Downtowns, and we’re working on an awesome project that will transform the dead space that was the Centre Mall into a vibrant walkable community.

Currently, we’re at an important stage of the project where we’re closing in on site plan approvals for the first phase of development, and hope to break ground Summer of 2013.

In order to move the project along at that pace or quicker, we are attempting to build a client list (downtown 2.0 community) that shows financiers that there is indeed interest in downtown living. The thing is, we need to express that interest in a more ‘formal’ manner — in a letter.  We call them LOI’s, or Letters of Interest. They’re not legally binding, but simply letters that say, “Yup, I’ve got enough of an interest to send in this form.” It’s easy, but most importantly it speaks volumes to investors.

If you’d like more info on downtown living, we’ve got answers:

  • Check out BristolRising.com/resi-info-page for additional layouts, and project details.
  • Send me an email directly  (mark@bristolrising.com) for a one-on-one session – however long you’d like!

We’re shooting to collect 150 of these letters and I need to find who’s interested in living in this vibrant vision, which can help us get it built. So far we are halfway past our goal, but still have a long way to go. Any word you can send to those you know who might be interested in living in this new retail-laced pedestrian downtown would be greatly helpful! The more people subscribing to this LOI campaign the better for the people, the project, and especially the City.

So spread the word, fill out those online LOI’s, shoot me back those letters (or inquiries), and let’s get downtown built!

Thanks, and hope to hear from you!

This page used to contain an original list  for ‘priority consideration’. To avoid people confusing that list with the current list of LOI signees (which is private), we have chosen to remove the original “priority list”. If you were on the original “priority list” you are eligible for double priority consideration if you sign a Letter of Interest today. To find out if you were on the original “priority list”, please email mark@bristolrising.com

I am interested but would like to see a better lay out view of what they will look like meaning a picture of each room not just one or two rooms like a tour thru the place would help people decide if they are really interested.

Definitely interested in renting a studio or one bedroom, depending on price. I might be hired to work for a business located on N. Main Street and the prospect of living and working so close is very exciting!

  3. Interested in rent or buy downtown as the development takes shape.
