There are hoards of great ideas for creating a really interesting, exciting, even eclectic mixture of businesses to populate downtown Bristol. You can vote on many of these business ideas and suggest your own in the Ideas section to help create a vibrant destination place that you would want to hang out in.
If there’s enough support for a particular idea, entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs may want to jump in and create what the community is supporting. Say for instance, you would like a 50′s diner downtown. If there are hundreds of supporters for such a business, then maybe there is a person in Bristol (or the region) whose dream it is to open a 50′s diner and they’re encouraged to take that next step to open their dream business. If there is no entrepreneur that steps up, and a business receives considerable likes, then Renaissance Downtowns will actively search out an entrepreneur for that establishment, perhaps one that already has a similar successful business elsewhere and would like to expand or create a spin off.
